Pique Flue Extension Supporting Brackets

Designed to provide additional support for extended Pique Ascent flue installations, the 180mm Flue Bracing Kit helps stabilise the flue system in high wind conditions and taller installations.

Manufactured from hot dip galvanised steel and finished in high-temperature black paint, the brackets are designed for durability and a clean integrated appearance behind the flue system.

Flue bracing is recommended when:

• installing the Ascent in high wind zones with extended flue heights, or
• using two or more flue extensions in low to medium wind zones.

In many standard installations, these 180mm brackets can be used to securely brace the flue to a suitable surrounding structure.

Kit Includes

• 2 x 180mm flue bracing brackets
• Pop rivets for securing brackets to the Ascent flue

(Does not include 1/4" / 14 gauge mounting screws.)

Installation

Simply drill 4.1mm holes through the flue, secure the brackets using the supplied pop rivets, then fasten the brackets to a suitable structure using 14 gauge screws.
