Innovative Smoke-Vent Technology
The patented Smoke-Vent Technology ensures that every moment around the fire is enjoyed and not hindered by unpleasant smoke, it’s been specially designed to maximise smoke extraction when burning conditions are not ideal.
The technology works by positioning exhaust intakes at the firebox opening in locations where lazy smoke typically escapes outdoor fireplaces (particularly in breezy conditions). The vents are connected to a vertical cavity surrounding the primary flue. Heat from this flue warms the air in the vertical Smoke-Vent cavity causing it to expand and rise. Using a phenomenon called the stack effect, this rising air creates a vacuum through the vents at the firebox opening which captures smoke which would usually escape the firebox in a breeze.
Smoke-Vent technology is ideal for costal and elevated properties which are more susceptible to breeze and also for those wanting to get cooking before the breeze has subsided.
